The Secma Qpod / Funtech vehicles we have previously insured include:
Secma Qpod Sport
The most popular model in the Secma Qpod range, powered by a Lombardini engine, the Qpod Sport is equally at home both off and on road. Durability comes from a high resistance, moulded central cell, mounted on an anti-corrosion chassis. Further safety features include three point seat belts (driver and passenger), padded side bars, head restraints and a safety glass windscreen.
Secma Qpod Fun Buggy
With a low purchase price, complemented by equally attractive running and operating costs, the Qpod Fun Buggy, with its air cooled 340cc 4 stroke single cylinder petrol engine and fully automatic transmission, can certainly be fun. Lightweight, at just 220kg, the Fun Buggy allows you to venture over more problematic terrain – and if it gets wet then an optional accessory cover is available.
Secma Qpod Fun 500
The Qpod Fun 500 (GT500) boasts five speed manual box with a Lombardini 505cc twin cylinder fuel injected and water cooled powerplant propelling the car forward. The GT 500 is low to the ground, gaining traction from 13 inch competition wheels. Dual circuit disc brakes and double wishbone suspension (front) mean assist in the vehicle’s comfort and safety features.
Secma Qpod Fun Family
The Qpod Fun Family (Q4) with four seats, rear pockets built into the front two seats offering you additional storage and optional doors providing more security for your passengers, the Q4 adds a new dimension to Qpod driving. Some might like to add the accessory tow bar but if you aren’t taking passengers then the rear seats can be folded up. .
Secma Qpod Electric
The Qpod Electric, no longer manufactured, is congestion charge exempt for those visiting London and comes with not only automatic transmission but also hydraulic brakes. Durability comes from a high resistance, moulded central cell, mounted on an anti-corrosion chassis. Further safety features include three point seat belts (driver and passenger), padded side bars, head restraints and a safety glass windscreen. The bodywork is knock-resistant and thought has been given to provide a comfortable driving position, straightforward controls and boot space.
Secma Qpod Fun Runner
The T3, classed as a tricycle, actually has four wheels. 1360cc 4 cylinder fuel injected engine means that the Qpod Fun Runner will not be slow away from the lights and its gull-wing doors and (optional) leather seats further enhance that sports car feel.
